We offer secure and confidential virtual psychotherapy sessions for clients in Ottawa and beyond. Whether you’re at home or on the go, our online therapy platform allows you to access expert counseling from the comfort of your own space, making it easy and convenient to begin your healing journey.

How effective is EMDR therapy for trauma

EMDR therapy is highly effective for treating trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In Ottawa, our experienced therapists use EMDR to help you process traumatic memories, reduce emotional distress, and move forward with healing. Many clients experience significant improvements in just a few sessions.

What is the difference between CBT and MBCT therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a well-established, evidence-based therapy focused on changing negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and stress. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), while similar to CBT, incorporates mindfulness practices to help you stay present and manage overwhelming emotions. Both therapies are effective and can be tailored to your specific mental health needs in Ottawa.

Can Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) help with anxiety and stress

Yes, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is particularly effective for managing anxiety, stress, and life challenges. ACT helps you accept difficult thoughts and feelings, build emotional flexibility, and commit to actions aligned with your values. Our ACT therapy in Ottawa empowers you to live a meaningful life despite ongoing stressors.

How can Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) help with PTSD

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based therapy specifically designed for treating PTSD. If you’re in Ottawa and have experienced trauma, CPT can help you challenge and reframe the unhelpful thoughts associated with traumatic events, leading to a significant reduction in PTSD symptoms. Our therapists are here to guide you through the healing process.
